The model 8000 from Wayne-Dalton is the basic non builder grade, entry level steel garage doors that out perform our competition. The Model 8000 is an uninsulated, single steel true 25 gauge door that installs with a 10 year warranty on the door panels, 5 year warranty on the torsion spring system and a 1 year labor warranty on the professional installation from United Overhead Door Company. The Wayne-Dalton 8000 model has no effective R-value since this is a non-insulated product. The standard garage door has a short raised panel look and will match the theme your neighborhood which is approved by many Home Owners Associations. Finally this model is installs with a standard inside safety lock (an optional keyed lock system is an added cost for installation).
Each door comes in a variety of colors and designs, also with optional decorative windows that can add charm and appeal to your home. For those worried about high wind requirements, the Models 8000 are available with wind-load reinforcement upon request for an additional cost. Standard colors are White, Almond, Taupe and Brown. (Other Colors such as Gray and Green are only available with the Wayne-Dalton 9100, 9600 Models).
